Yesss, the time has come!!!!!
What I have been working for and looking forward to for a long time is now finally coming true:
My first NCAA competition (and on the best course in Indiana too)
It was very exciting! If you read my other update you may have seen that I wasn't completely rested, but luckily I was able to find my way a bit.
For information: The first day you play 36 holes and the next day 18 holes.
It was a links course, a long course and there was a lot of wind. A good tester to see where I stand worldwide.
The first 18 holes I wasn't really comfortable with my game, unnecessary mistakes, mentally I was busy with things that you really shouldn't be busy with.
Fortunately, I was able to turn the switch on the second round.
I had the best result of the team that round!
The second day (only 18 holes to go),
It actually went quite well, I made a lot of pars, but on the last few holes I had some uncertainties in my game, which resulted in high scores. Very disappointing, but it's part of it.
September 15-16 we have our next tournament. The Brittanny Kelly classic (our home tournament) is a valuable tournament because we commemorate Brittanny Kelly with it.
Brittanny was a girl who participated in the Ball State women's golf program (she played partly on the LPGA). She passed away from Cancer, so that makes this tournament extra special!
